Coordinator Resources

If you have been appointed the InStep for Life coordinator for your local church or organization, you can find resources on this page to help you promote the InStep for Life program. If you would like to volunteer to be a local InStep for Life coordinator, contact your conference InStep for Life coordinator for details.

The goal is to get as many members of your church or organization participating in this NAD wide fitness challenge. It can be a lot of fun and can profound effects on the health of all the participants.

Conference Coordinator Resources

Every conference in the North American Division should have an appointed InStep for Life coordinator to promote this program in their conference. Their primary responsibility it to encourage every church and Adventist institution in their conference to become actively involved by:

  • Being personally engaged in the program so you know how it works and can explain it clearly to others.
  • Seeing that an InStep for Life coordinator is appointed for each local church and institution in your conference.
  • To communicate with and assist each local coordinator to help them get their church or organization actively participating.
  • To coordinate ordering of 1.) Pedometers,   2.) The participant's guide for getting started, a 60 page book called "Step into Fitness and Health," and any other items needed for getting started (brochures, bulletin inserts, etc.). We would like to encourage all churches in a conference to order these materials as a group rather than individually. Individuals can order these items on the web, but they will be more expensive that way.
  • To plan the launching and ongoing promotion of the InStep for Life fitness challenge in your conference. See local conference coordinator's responsibilities document below.
